Greenland Dog

Full of life this happy extrovert is a powerful ancient working 'pack' breed, valued for its strength and speed rather than its temperament, as a result it requires a confident, responsible, active owner when kept as a pet.

Patience, determination and consistency are required when training. Greenland Dogs an independent and dominant breed, sharing the stubborn nature of all Spitz types, and will challenge their owner. They are a breed for the experienced and enthusiastic dog owner rather than the novice, however, with correct handling they are adaptable, intelligent, good natured and affectionate.

The Greenland Dog is a pack animal, remaining closer than other Spitz breeds to the wild state and is unlikely to show particular loyalty to one particular family member.
