Glen Of Imaal Terrier

This relatively unknown, vulnerable Irish terrier breed is a tough and robust little chap, and not as noisy as many other terriers. He is an active little dog and a wonderful family companion.

A substantial, solidly built, stocky little chap and very much a muscular working breed.

Glen of Imaal Terrier is a dog that originally worked for its living doing what ever was required, watch dog, herding stock or killing vermin. This tough terrier was not a pursuit dog but an earth worker used to draw fox, badger and otter.
