Eurasier

The Eurasier is a recently developed breed which has attempted to recreate an ancient Russian dog known as the Laika. The immediate forbears of the Eurasier are the Chow Chow, the German Wolf Spitz and Samoyed

A devoted family companion, bonding with all family members rather than one particular person, the Eurasier is calm and self-assured with an even temperament.

Generally happy-go-lucky, watchful and alert, without being noisy, Eurasiers make good watch-dogs, although they have little if any guard or hunt instinct; however, being a relatively new breed there does tend to be more character variation between individuals than may be expected from other breeds, so this may not be true of every dog.
