Dandie Dinmont Terrier

Developed for otter and badger hunting, the Dandie Dinmont is a nimble, intelligent, loveable little dog with a mind of his own.

The Dandie Dinmont Terrier took its name from 'Guy Mannering', a novel written by Sir Walter Scott in 1814, in which a character of the same name owned terriers named 'Mustard' and 'Pepper' after the colour of their coats.

Tough but friendly and among the most docile of terrier breeds the Dandie Dinmont has an incredibly digging ability.
