Cirneco Dell'Etna

Pronounced 'cheer-nay-co' the Cirneco Dell'Etna is a lively and elegant breed originating from Sicily where he is used to hunt rabbits. The Cirneco Dell'Etna is a primitive breed with natural hunting ability.

The smallest of the Mediterranean island hunting hounds, and one of the few ancient breeds that have undergone very little manipulation by man the breed has been rigorously selected by nature for its ability to work for hours in the heat, as a result the dog we have today is an extremely hardy breed.
